About the Role

VeryAI is looking for a Business Development Manager to build the sales playbook for digital authenticity. You will identify the enterprises, platforms, and institutions that need human and agent verification, build the relationships, and close deals that shape how the market adopts Proof of Reality, working directly with the CEO before a formal sales function exists. Strong candidates come from B2B sales or go-to-market roles at biometric, KYC, identity verification, or digital trust companies.

What You'll Do

  • Build and own the BD pipeline across enterprise, platform, and institutional buyers.
  • Execute go-to-market across verticals and use cases, without a defined playbook.
  • Work directly with product and engineering to keep our offering aligned with what the market needs.
  • Represent VeryAI at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Track emerging opportunities in digital authenticity, AI regulation, and enterprise tech.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales at a biometric, KYC, identity, or privacy infrastructure company.
  • A track record of closing B2B deals in regulated or high-trust markets.
  • Experience building relationships across compliance, product, and executive buyers simultaneously.
  • Comfort operating pre-revenue, without a commission structure or a sales team behind you.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Strong Candidates May Also Have

  • Existing relationships at financial institutions, platforms, or compliance-heavy enterprises.
  • Experience selling to both technical and non-technical buyers in the same sales cycle.
  • Familiarity with emerging AI regulation, digital identity standards, or data privacy frameworks.
  • Based in Miami, New York, or San Francisco is a plus.

How to Apply

Send a CV and a short note on two or three deals you have closed that are relevant to this role. Include the buyer type, deal size if you can share it, and what made the sale hard. We read everything.
