This individual will be responsible for driving the vision, roadmap, and execution of enterprise capabilities supporting Billing, Collections, Payments, and the broader Lead-to-Cash (L2C) lifecycle. The role will focus on aligning technology solutions across platforms such as Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Salesforce and Oracle Fusion Financials, delivering operational excellence, scalability, and user-centric functionality. This person must be able to work comfortably in a fast paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Ownership & Strategy
- Define and manage the product roadmap for L2C processes with a focus on billing, invoicing, collections, payments, and AR reporting.
- Serve as the subject matter expert across NetSuite, Salesforce, and Oracle systems in the billing and finance domains.
- Partner with stakeholders in Finance, Sales Ops, RevOps, and IT to gather requirements, prioritize features, and deliver value-added solutions.
- Prioritize backlog of work ensuring alignment of initiatives with corporate strategy.
- Help overall organization to continually mature operating model and improve processes.
- Must have strong business acumen with knowledge of MSPs and Corporate/BIS systems.
- Agile Delivery
- Own and manage the product backlog; write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies for the development team(s).
- Ensure timely delivery of features and capabilities aligned to business goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with technical leads, engineers, QA, and release management teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, translating business needs into system requirements.
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure solutions meet compliance standards, including internal controls, data privacy, and security requirements.
- Partner with governance, architecture, and security teams to maintain alignment with enterprise policies.
- Continuous Improvement
- Monitor system performance and user adoption, proactively identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and reduce manual intervention.
- Stay current on industry trends, technology innovations, and best practices in billing, collections, and payment operations.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in product ownership, business systems analysis, or solution delivery roles.
- Proven expertise in Billing, Collections, Payments, Commerce Cloud, RCA and full Lead-to-Cash (L2C) lifecycle.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Commerce Cloud and/or Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Experience supporting finance operations such as invoicing, payment gateways, dunning, GL posting, and revenue recognition workflows.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional Agile teams and driving enterprise-scale projects to completion.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence and drive alignment across departments.
