You’ll own the entire quality assurance process for Graphus, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability. This role is all about testing like a pro—combining deep expertise in manual and automated testing with a strong focus on vulnerability detection.
Your days will be filled with building smart test strategies, mentoring a talented QA team, and driving innovation in automated testing to help make Graphus the best email security solution out there. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the software works flawlessly and stays one step ahead of cyber threats. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of QA practices as we continue to grow and evolve.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for an experienced Lead QA Engineer to oversee the Graphus module’s QA efforts within Kaseya’s Security Suite. This person will report directly to the Senior Manager of QA and collaborate closely with Product Managers, Development Teams, and DevOps Engineers to create and execute comprehensive test strategies. You will also manage a team of passionate QA engineers, ensuring everyone is aligned with the overall quality goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who is passionate about security testing and has a proven track record in leading testing efforts for high-performance, secure products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Lead Quality Assurance Processes:
Oversee all QA activities for the Graphus module, a critical component in Kaseya’s email security suite. Establish and drive test strategies focused on performance, security, and reliability. -
Test Strategy Development:
Collaborate with development teams to design comprehensive test plans that include both manual and automated tests. Ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices are in place for smooth and reliable software releases. -
Mentorship & Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA engineers. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, providing feedback, and supporting career development. Conduct performance assessments and encourage the adoption of new testing methodologies. -
Automated Testing Excellence:
Spearhead the development and execution of automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, and REST Assured. Enhance the efficiency and coverage of testing processes while contributing to the overall quality of Graphus. -
Defect Tracking & Reporting:
Lead defect tracking processes, performing root cause analysis and working with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve defects. Communicate clear and actionable feedback to product managers and development teams. -
Agile Collaboration:
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Ensure that quality objectives are in sync with project goals and timelines. -
Continuous Improvement:
Stay on top of the latest trends in QA, automation, and security testing. Apply new tools, techniques, and practices to continually improve the testing process and team performance.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
-
Experience:
- 5+ years in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a lead or managerial role.
- Strong experience in security testing and experience working with email security products or similar technologies.
-
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in automated testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, REST Assured, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
- Solid understanding of security protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, email encryption) and threat detection mechanisms.
-
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications like ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA are a plus.
-
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- A proactive approach to team management, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and encouraging knowledge-sharing.
