WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Step into a high-impact role where you’ll be at the center of Kaseya’s financial strategy, collaborating with General Managers to drive business success. As the Director of BU Finance, you'll be the go-to financial partner for your business unit, providing insights that fuel decisions, improve performance, and optimize costs. You’ll own the financial planning process, generate critical reports, and develop financial models that support strategic growth initiatives. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We’re seeking a strategic finance leader to support Kaseya’s business units, working closely with General Managers and cross-functional teams. You will report directly to the VP of Product Finance and partner with senior leaders across IT, Operations, and Engineering to drive financial performance, manage budgeting and forecasting, and ensure that growth initiatives are effectively funded. If you’re a seasoned finance professional with a knack for business partnering and an ability to influence decision-making, we want you to join our team!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the General Manager of the business unit to provide deep financial insights, strategic planning, and support for key business decisions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Take ownership of the financial planning process, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial strategies.
- Performance Reporting: Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis, KPI tracking, and scenario analysis to ensure the business unit’s financial health.
- Cost Optimization: Identify and drive opportunities to reduce costs, optimize financial performance, and improve operational efficiency within the business unit.
- Capital Planning: Manage capital planning to ensure resources are allocated effectively to business unit growth initiatives, ensuring maximum return on investment.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the General Manager and leaders in IT, Operations, and Engineering to align financial strategies with business priorities and operational needs.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to support data-driven decision-making and scenario planning.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or related fields, with substantial experience supporting a business unit or operational team.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a business-related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- Business Partnering: Proven ability to partner with senior leaders, especially General Managers, to drive financial performance and influence business decisions.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with a focus on effective communication and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Mindset: Data-driven with an ability to analyze complex financial data and translate it into actionable business insights.
- Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with ever-evolving priorities and business challenges
