Join our team as a Senior Analyst, Compensation and Analytics, and play a pivotal role in shaping our compensation strategies. You will be responsible for analyzing compensation data, developing relational data models, and interpreting data to design and implement effective compensation programs. A key focus will be tracking and reporting compensation payouts against plan performance, particularly Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). Your insights will ensure our compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data Analysis and Insights:
    • Perform advanced statistical analyses and data mining to uncover trends and anomalies.
    • Develop and maintain relational data models for comprehensive compensation analysis.
    • Utilize Excel (including Power Query and Power Pivot) and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
    • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on key compensation metrics and present findings to senior leadership.
    • Track and report compensation payouts relative to plan performance and ARR.
  • Market Benchmarking:
    • Conduct salary surveys and market analyses to benchmark compensation practices.
    • Compare internal compensation data against industry standards to ensure competitiveness.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations based on market trends.
  • Compensation Program Development:
    • Support the design and management of compensation and incentive programs using data-driven insights.
    • Evaluate and improve existing compensation structures based on analytical findings.
    • Develop strategies to align compensation with business goals and performance metrics.
  • Policy Development and Compliance:
    • Assist in developing and updating compensation policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in compensation-related audits.
  • Communication and Training:
    • Create clear communication materials to explain compensation programs and changes.
    • Provide training and support to managers on compensation-related topics.
    • Act as a point of contact for employee and manager compensation inquiries.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:
    • Work closely with HR, Finance, and Sales teams to align compensation strategies with business goals.
    • Collaborate on budgeting and financial forecasting related to compensation.
    • Participate in cross-functional projects, providing analytical support and insights.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in compensation analysis, data analytics, or a related field.
    • Experience tracking and reporting compensation payouts relative to plan performance and ARR metrics.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and relational data models.
    • Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization.
    • Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, SAS, Python).
    • Familiarity with SQL and databases for handling large datasets.
    • Strong understanding of compensation principles, practices, and trends.
    • Familiarity with HRIS and compensation management systems.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
    • Ability to analyze complex data sets and generate meaningful insights.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Experience in developing actionable recommendations from data analysis.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
    • Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Project Management Skills:
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Experience leading or participating in cross-functional projects.
