Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance and Operations (oCFO and oCOO)

We are hiring a Senior Analyst in Strategic Finance and Operations to support foundational areas of an impactful and high-performing team. The areas span forecasting and optimization, corporate finance, accounting, treasury, and capital markets activities. This role will assist in managing the company’s annual business planning and quarterly reforecasting processes, develop & monitor company-wide metrics & KPIs, report on trends and explain variances, and translate complex data into actionable insights to drive stronger business performance and profitability, ultimately aiding key-decision making across the organization.

In This Role, You Will

  • Support critical processes throughout the Office of the CFO
  • Create, enrich, and maintain financial models to support ROI-based decision-making and inform key stakeholders across the organization of the financial implications of key business decisions
  • Assist with the creation of high-quality presentations across all stakeholders, including the Board, lenders, and investors
  • Drive growth and improvements in margin and profitability through effective business planning in partnership with the leadership team
  • Collaborate across departments, including our Accounting, FP&A, and Treasury teams, to build and evolve our financial reporting as well as finance team operations
  • Partner with the Data Team to provide key insights into performance and financial trends, linking leading indicators in current business drivers to future strategy
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of various financial and operational data to derive actionable insights that can be used to steer the business
  • Assist with building and evolving our long-term forecasting models to support decisionmaking around expansion and operational strategies
  • Distill our business and cost drivers into key metrics that underpin how we communicate financial performance, allocate resources, and plan for growth
  • Stay current on market trends and best-in-class financial performance benchmarks
  • Assist with all ad hoc analysis for the Strategic Finance team

You Might Thrive In This Role If You Have

  • 1-4 years of progressive management consulting, investment banking, or corporate finance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data analysis, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • An analytical mindset and inclination to seek out the truth instead of relying on generalities and broad assumptions
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement, ROI and new business analysis, in addition to corporate finance and accounting concepts
  • Ability to distill complex information into actionable insights and critically evaluate opportunities and risk
  • Excellent communication skills and “story telling” ability when presenting data insights
  • Best-in-class attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy
  • Agility to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments and willingness to get deep into the weeds where needed
  • Most importantly, the desire to learn and ability to adapt to new problems. This role intentionally covers a wide breadth of functional areas and departments. Working here, you will be encouraged to grow and learn a lot in a short time. This is a great role for someone looking to start their own business one day, or someone who wants to get a strong understanding of how everything within a business is tied together.
