WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of invoices and employee expense reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and approve invoices.
- Assist with weekly payment runs
- Address payment rejections, cancellations, and returns with the bank, vendor, and vendor onboarding team.
- Provide direction for Accounts Payable Specialists.
- Ensure AP inquiries are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the accounting, procurement, and treasury teams.
- Assist and support manager with month end closing activities.
- Assist with automation of processes where possible.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and projects to improve efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 6-8 years of experience within AP with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with international payment processing is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Works carefully and is diligent and detail oriented
