Chewy Connected Veterinary Services is proud to expand its telehealth services and is seeking a full-time Manager, Telemedicine Veterinary Services II to lead and support our growing team of Virtual Care Veterinarians. We believe great pet care can start right at home!

What You'll Do:
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Telemedicine Veterinarians, empowering them to deliver high quality teletriage support and telemedicine care focused on small animals, with the potential to expand into other areas of animal care.
Provide direct oversight, offering support, feedback, and professional development opportunities to veterinary team members.
Collaborate with Veterinary Operations, IT, Product, and Design teams to identify and implement platform improvements, ensuring seamless telemedicine services.
Assist in refining and updating SOPs to improve efficiency, compliance, and performance of the telemedicine program.
Monitor team performance and adherence to telemedicine best practices, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient care standards.
Foster an environment of open communication, teamwork, and accountability, providing guidance and removing obstacles for the veterinary team.
Act as a veterinary subject matter expert, contributing to business improvements, program expansions, and training initiatives.
Collaborate with Learning & Development to support onboarding and training for new hires.
Participate in business development and industry events to represent Connect with a Vet, providing insights and feedback as needed.
Support quality assurance by reviewing feedback, identifying opportunities for coaching, and implementing process improvements.
Support Connect with a Vet affiliates in other areas where veterinary experience may be needed.
Occasionally provide direct telemedicine services, including patient evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning, as needed.
What You'll Need:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD) or equivalent is required.
Must be authorized to practice within the United States (Proof of ECFVG or other foreign equivalent examination is required for graduates of foreign schools or non-AVMA accredited veterinary colleges).
Be a licensed veterinarian in good standing with the medical board in at least one state, preferably Virginia or Florida, and be able to timely obtain and maintain licensure in other states as required for telemedicine services.
3+ years of small animal veterinary experience, including virtual care or telemedicine experience.
Previous leadership experience (team lead, supervisor, or manager role preferred) with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop veterinary professionals.
Strong operational and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze trends and implement improvements.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with workforce management software, teleconferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams), and veterinary practice management or telemedicine tools. Must be comfortable and adept at interacting with customers and Connect with a Vet team members through remote online platforms.
A strong passion for helping people and pets, demonstrated through empathy and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for coaching and collaboration.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and perform well in a face paced, self-starter environment while managing multiple priorities.
Have access to high-speed internet that can support video streaming.
Have a designated working space that is quiet and free from disruptions.
Candidates must be flexible and willing to provide occasional evening, weekend, or holiday support based on team needs.
Occasional travel (<10%)
