Job Description:
Our Opportunity
Chewy is looking for a highly organized, AI-forward Manager, Comms Planning & Ops to help scale how we plan, traffic, and govern Growth Marketing campaigns across the enterprise.
This role sits within the Comms Planning function and will operate at the intersection of Marketing leaders,
Channel teams, Site, Creative, Analytics, and Marketing Operations. You will support the management of the Growth Marketing Comms Calendar, messaging and offer structure, campaign taxonomy, and key operating rhythms that keep hundreds of customer touchpoints moving each month across paid social, Paid Search/Product Listing Ads, YouTube, affiliate, and other performance marketing channels.
The ideal candidate is a strong operator and systems thinker who thrives in a fast-moving, high-volume environment. You will bring structure to complex campaign planning, reduce coordination tax across teams, and identify AI- and prompt-first ways to connect Workfront workflows, campaign inputs, tagging requirements, creative specifications, reporting needs, and stakeholder updates. This is an enterpriseimpacting C5 role that will influence how Chewy plans, governs, launches, and measures Growth Marketing activity at scale.
What You’ll Do
Support the management of the Growth Marketing Comms Calendar, ensuring campaign timing, messaging, offers, channel placements, and key dependencies are accurate, current, and visible to stakeholders
Serve as a key operating partner across Marketing, Channel, Site, Creative, Analytics, and Marketing Operations teams to help ensure offsite campaigns and onsite experiences are coordinated and consistent
Traffic and govern hundreds of customer touchpoints each month across paid social, Paid Search/Product Listing Ads, YouTube, affiliate, and other Growth Marketing channels
Manage campaign intake, routing, prioritization, updates, and change management through Workfront and related planning systems
Support governance for campaign taxonomy, naming conventions, offer structures, messaging inputs, tracking/tagging requirements, creative specifications, and reporting readiness to improve consistency, execution quality, traceability, and measurement
Coordinate scheduling and delivery of third-party campaign reporting across channels, ensuring leaders have timely visibility into campaign status, results, risks, and learnings
Identify and implement AI-assisted workflows, prompt libraries, templates, and automation opportunities that reduce manual coordination, improve quality, and accelerate campaign planning cycles
Build scalable operating routines, documentation, and QA checkpoints that improve handoffs, reduce errors, and create stronger accountability across teams
Proactively surface calendar conflicts, offer inconsistencies, missing dependencies, tagging or spec gaps, reporting gaps, and execution risks, then drive resolution with the right partners
What You’ll Need
6+ years of experience in marketing operations, growth marketing, integrated marketing planning, campaign management, media operations, or a related function
Experience supporting complex, multi-channel marketing calendars or high-volume campaign operations
Strong understanding of performance marketing channels such as paid social, Paid Search/Product Listing Ads, YouTube, affiliate, display, or lifecycle marketing
Working knowledge of campaign tagging, tracking parameters, channel trafficking requirements, creative specifications, QA processes, and reporting inputs
Experience with marketing workflow, project management, or planning systems; Workfront experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to support governance around taxonomy, naming conventions, campaign metadata, offer structures, and reporting inputs
Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to translate complex campaign details into clear plans, decisions, timelines, and stakeholder updates
High attention to detail and sound operational judgment, especially when managing customerfacing messaging, offers, timing, trafficking requirements, and reporting dependencies
Experience using AI tools, prompts, automation, or workflow optimization to improve speed, quality, visibility, or decision-making
Ability to influence teams without direct authority and bring clarity to ambiguous, fast-changing business priorities
A genuine interest in Chewy’s customer experience and a passion for helping pet parents receive timely, relevant, and consistent communications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in ecommerce, retail, marketplace, subscription, or enterprise-scale performance marketing environments
Experience partnering with Site or merchandising teams to align offsite campaigns with onsite landing experiences, offers, and messaging
Familiarity with third-party media reporting, AI-assisted QA, prompt engineering, connected planning systems, or creative/media trafficking workflows
