Our Opportunity:
Chewy is on a mission to be the most trusted and convenient destination for pet parents everywhere. We seek a talented Executive Assistant to support senior leaders within the Chewy Health team in our Plantation, FL headquarters. You will provide high-quality administrative and clerical assistance to top-level executives. The Executive Assistant’s primary duties include scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and organizing daily calendars. To be successful in this role, you should be proactive, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.
What you'll do:
High volume calendaring via Outlook
Make and track travel arrangements
Compile, submit, and track expense reports
Complete cycle meeting execution: planning, preparation, execution, and follow up action tracking
Plan department and corporate events (virtual and onsite)
Act as the primary liaison between executives and team members/clients
Create and manage high-level reports and update internal databases
Create and manage internal communications
Lead team engagement
Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with existing Administrative team
Ad-hoc duties upon request
What you'll need:
10+ years of related experience supporting high-level executives in complex and fast-moving environments
The desire to identify and address the needs of Executives to ensure the company’s workflow runs smoothly
Possess a forward-looking and resource-aware approach to calendaring and time management
A customers first mentality with a sense of urgency and commitment to prompt response and action
Adapt well to changing plans and priorities; comfortable dealing with high volume and ambiguity
Ability to operate at depth and live in the details; all around problem-solving skills
Deep intellectual curiosity and strong willingness to work in a team
Willingness to take ownership and a solution-oriented way of being
Advanced Microsoft Office skills with an appetite to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software
Very good communication (phone, email, chat, and in-person)
Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
Excellent organizational skills and time management
Ability to prioritizes projects based on the needs of the business
Positive with a sense of humor
A passion for pets and the improvement of the pet industry and market
