Pricing Data Analyst Intern
Intern Timeframe: June 8, 2026 – August 14, 2026
Qualified Students: Students graduating in Spring 2027
Opportunity
Chewy’s Pricing Analytics team is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to help modernize how pricing insights are created and consumed across the business as we transition in 2026 to an insights-first experience powered by a unified knowledge system and GenAI-driven narratives. This summer internship centers on a high-impact, well-scoped project focused on rationalizing our Tableau pricing dashboards, reducing low-value reporting, modernizing underlying data and logic, and delivering real stakeholder impact while building practical skills in analytics modernization, stakeholder-driven design, and insight automation.
What You’ll Do:
Help assess and rationalize the pricing dashboard ecosystem by analyzing usage, customer value, duplication of logic, and refresh/compute cost drivers, and recommend a practical consolidation plan
Support the shift to an insights-first analytics experience by helping translate dashboard outputs into decision-ready narratives and automated insights
Contribute to building a centralized knowledge base for pricing metrics so insights are consistent and reusable across dashboards and GenAI workflows
Prototype improvements to a small set of high-usage dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI, focusing on simpler visuals, clearer definitions, and customer usability
Partner with Pricing Analytics teammates and business customers to capture requirements, test interpretations, and communicate findings in a stakeholder-friendly format
Support light data pipeline or data quality work that enables more reliable reporting and automation
What You’ll Need:
Full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or similar, with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2027
Proven solid skills in SQL & Tableau
Working knowledge of Power BI
Strong analytical thinking and communication
Curiosity about GenAI-enabled analytics and narrative insight delivery
Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
Ability to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from June 8, 2026 – August 14, 2026
Bonus
Experience analyzing dashboard usage/telemetry (e.g., usage metrics) and familiarity with data quality checks, documentation standards, or basic performance troubleshooting
Learn how pricing operates at scale in e-commerce (competition, value perception, profitability, and execution)
Build a solid foundation in analytics, customer management, and structured problem solving
The hourly range for this role is $25.00.
