You’ll be part of a culture that values everything that you do, who you are, and the goals you have set for your career. Your Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Brand Social team, helping bring Chewy’s brand, campaigns, and storytelling to life across social platforms

This role is designed for a strategic, hands-on social marketer who can move seamlessly between planning, creative execution, publishing, and optimization. You’ll play a key role in shaping how Chewy shows up in the feed—translating brand and business priorities into engaging, platform-native content that builds connection, drives engagement, and strengthens brand love.

The ideal candidate is passionate about brands, advertising, and social-first storytelling, with experience working in fast-paced brand or agency environments. You’ll collaborate closely with strategists, creatives and cross-functional partners to ensure our social presence is intentional, timely, and creatively distinctive.

What You’ll Do:
Social Calendar Planning

  • Own and maintain the Brand Social content calendar
  • Translate brand objectives, business requests and campaigns into platform-native strategies and briefs
  • Find opportunities for social-led moments, evergreen storytelling, and real-time cultural hooks
  • Ensure balanced publishing cadence
  • Optimize content based on performance insights

Content Development & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end projects from ideation to publishing
  • Write creative briefs and partner with creatives and agencies
  • Optimize content by platform
  • Publish content across platforms
  • Maintain brand voice and creative consistency
  • Produce lightweight social content when needed

Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze performance across organic social platforms
  • Build and deliver regular performance reports tied to reach, engagement, and brand critical metrics
  • Identify performance trends, content findings, and optimization opportunities
  • Use data to inform content planning, creative iteration, and testing strategies
  • Partner with teams to ensure consistent tagging, tracking, and measurement practices

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in brand social, advertising, or digital marketing (in-house or agency)
  • Proven experience owning multi-platform social content calendars for national brands
  • Strong understanding of brand-building, campaign storytelling, and social-first creative
  • Experience working with analytics, reporting, and optimization frameworks
  • Comfort interpreting social metrics and translating insights into action
  • Ability to think strategically while implementing hands-on
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and creative judgment skills
  • Experience with native platform, Emplifi or similar tools
  • Passion for pets and brands, advertising, and culture
  • Position may require travel

What You’ll Get:

  • A place where you can be your authentic self and grow your career. Our pet parents and partners are from everywhere--different places and different walks of life. It is what makes them unique. Likewise, Chewtopians are encouraged to bring their perspectives to deliver on our mission!
  • Work in a culture that cares, with managers who value you and your career journey. Be empowered to think big, thrive on delivering results, and to become your best.
  • Development of meaningful connections with a diverse group of Chewtopians through Team Member Resource Groups and celebrate inclusivity with various company events, programs, and activities.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision benefits, in addition to wellness programs and resources, enabling you to be your best self in and outside of work.
