Our Opportunity:
Ready to launch your career at the intersection of business, strategy, and data? Chewy is hiring a Category Analyst New Graduate Program class out of our Plantation, FL headquarters! As part of this cohort, you’ll play a key role in crafting the growth of Chewy’s business by analyzing trends, making data-driven decisions, negotiating with vendors, and getting results in a category that touches millions of pet parents.
This isn’t a back-office data job. It’s a frontline business role where you’ll learn to think like an entrepreneur, negotiate like a dealmaker, and use data to drive decisions that develop Chewy’s future. In this program you will gain real ownership, cross-functional exposure, and a foundation to grow into a business leader.
What You’ll Do:
- Turn data into strategy: analyze weekly sales and performance metrics to uncover insights and drive action
- Shape the business: recommend and refine promotions, pricing, and profit margin strategies
- Partner with vendors: meet bi-weekly/monthly to solve problems, spot growth opportunities, and negotiate terms and costs
- Drive growth: identify and onboard new products and vendors, expanding Chewy’s assortment
- Deliver results: own analyses and decisions that directly impact your category’s performance
What You’ll Need:
- Currently enrolled in accredited BS/BA degree program, with anticipated graduation date of Spring 2026
- Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
- Ability to start full-time in Plantation, FL on July 13, 2026
- Strong curiosity about business, strategy, and management
- Analytical approach and Excel skills; curious and solution oriented
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and collaborate
- Comfortable with ambiguity, detailed, and proactive
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Bonus:
- Internship or leadership experience
- Exposure to SQL and/or Tableau
- Foreign language skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese)
- A track record of ownership and results in work, internships, or projects
