Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RMA Manager to own and scale our global hardware failure, return and replacement operations as part of our Infrastructure Operations organization. The ideal candidate is a process driven operator with strong vendor management instincts, capable of operating across procurement, infrastructure operations, data center teams and capacity planning. This role is critical to ensuring hardware reliability in order to minimize customer impact, and protect capital efficiency.
This is a highly visible role in a high-growth technology company, which will require the ability to build repeatable processes, enforce accountability with OEM partners, and deliver clear reporting. You will play a direct role in improving platform reliability, influencing sourcing decisions, and shaping how Vultr manages hardware risk at scale.

Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end RMA lifecycle for servers, networking, and storage hardware across global data centers
Lead a growing global team of RMA Specialists and RMA Project Managers in pursuit of all objectives.
Engage OEMs and hardware vendors to initiate, track, and resolve RMAs while enforcing SLAs and warranty terms
Build standardized RMA intake, triage, approval, and execution workflows
Develop failure trend, MTBF, and aging RMA reporting to identify systemic hardware risks and vendor quality issues
Partner with Procurement to support sourcing decisions using failure and return data
Collaborate with Capacity Planning to incorporate attrition and replacement data into forecast models
Perform audits of asset records, serial tracking, and warranty coverage to ensure financial and operational accuracy
Coordinate replacement logistics and spare availability to minimize service impact and downtime
Produce executive dashboards summarizing RMA volume, turnaround time, vendor performance, and risk exposure.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in hardware operations, RMA management, supply chain, or infrastructure operations
Experience supporting large-scale cloud, data center, or GPU / bare metal environments
Strong knowledge of server, GPU, and network hardware lifecycles and warranty processes
Proven experience working directly with OEMs
Ability to operate cross-functionally with Procurement, Infrastructure Ops, Finance, and Engineering
Strong analytical and reporting skills; comfort presenting operational data to senior leadership
Experience with asset management systems, CMDBs, or ERP tools preferred
Compensation
$110,000 - $120,000
This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
