Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and Junior Test Automation Engineer to report to the Site Reliability Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starter who is excited about UI and API test automation. This is a highly visible role in a high-growth technology company, which will require experience with Python and Selenium. Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Development: Write efficient and maintainable UI and API tests, including thorough documentation and test reporting to ensure transparency and reproducibility of test results.
Test Automation Maintenance: Maintain existing tests to ensure continued support for the ways customers use our services.
Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams to align development efforts with reliability, scalability, and business objectives.
Documentation: Produce high-quality test plans for APIs, systems, and processes to ensure stability, speed, and scalability.
Qualifications
Experience in writing automated tests using Python (Selenium)
Experience with cloud infrastructure and knowledge of cloud-based services.
Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to address automation challenges.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work cross-functionally with teams and stakeholders.
A commitment to continuous learning and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Compensation
$60,000 - $75,000
This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
