Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Intelligence Architect to establish and operationalize the foundational strategy for data-driven decision-making across the entire organization. The ideal candidate is hands-on with deep technical expertise in the modern BI stack and a proven history of transforming complex data into actionable business insights. This is a highly visible role in a high-growth technology company, which will require technical mastery of data engineering, data modeling and visualization, and cross-functional partnership.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and maintain the end-to-end BI infrastructure, leveraging Google BigQuery, Fivetran, Looker, and Power BI to ensure data integrity, reliability, and accessibility.
Lead the development of key dashboards and reports, with a heavy focus on Power BI, to monitor critical KPIs across Finance, Sales (Salesforce/Netsuite), Marketing, and Operations.
Drive the BI strategy roadmap tech stack in its entirety to achieve synergy and a cohesive vision.
Perform complex hands-on data modeling and ETL/ELT work to integrate data from diverse sources, including Netsuite, Salesforce, and a Homegrown application.
Collaborate closely with executive leadership to understand strategic objectives and translate them into measurable, actionable data requirements and reporting structures.
Engage directly with business unit owners to democratize data and enable self-service analytics where appropriate, reducing reliance on the central BI team for routine requests.
Oversee data security and compliance measures related to data assets and reporting environments
Qualifications
7+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Data Analytics, with 3 years in building business AND Accounting & Finance-focused visualizations and user interfaces
Expert-level proficiency with the modern cloud BI stack, specifically Google BigQuery, and extensive practical experience with ETL tools like Fivetran.
Demonstrated Mastery of Power BI (dashboard design, DAX, performance tuning, and administration) is a mandatory requirement.
Proven ability to integrate data from core enterprise platforms, including Netsuite and Salesforce.
Deep understanding of dimensional modeling (Kimball) and data governance best practices.
Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical data details and executive-level business context.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Finance).
Compensation
$120,000-$150,000
This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
