Hands-On Craft

Design System & Implementation Flow: Own the end-to-end design system — components, tokens,
patterns, and documentation — and the workflow for how design changes move from Figma into
production.

Storybook: Build and maintain our component library in Storybook, keeping it in sync with the live design
system and easy for engineers to reference. Connect Storybook to our prototyping workflow so prototypes
and production components stay aligned.

Figma Asset Management: Establish and enforce naming conventions, file structure, and version control
for all design assets, libraries, and shared components in Figma.

Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes to test and validate design decisions before implementation,
working closely with product managers and dev team leads (a strong plus, not a strict requirement).
Leadership

Coaching: Mentor and provide feedback to designers who use and extend the design system.
•
Cross-functional partnership: Partner with engineering and product to prioritize design system
investments against roadmap needs.

Governance: Set and uph

6+ years in product design, with demonstrated ownership of a design system at scale.
Proven experience building and governing implementation flows between design systems and Storybook.
Deep, hands-on expertise organizing and maintaining component libraries, variables, and shared assets in
Figma.
Experience mentoring or informally leading other designers, even without formal management title.
