Operating within a global, centralized HR Support Center, the Payroll Lead is a hands-on role where you are part of a team responsible for providing Payroll related administrative and analytical support to team members in Colombia.
The Payroll Lead's primary responsibility is supporting Payroll cases via our internal case management tool (ServiceNow) and HCM (Workday), in addition to processing payroll in partnership with our external vendor. To complete this work, you will interact with our team members at varying levels within the organization, as well as perform research, analysis and document preparation; interacting with team members and People Leaders on a variety of Payroll queries. You'll be a valuable resource for team members, providing guidance and support to make them successful. You will utilize your crucial stakeholder management skills to continue to improve the partnership with our vendor to execute exceptional payroll service delivery.
The Payroll Lead will work out of our Bogota office. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.

What You’ll Do
- Performs as a key contributor to the Payroll function by collaborating with Global People Team COE’s and executing tasks which support Colombia.
- Collaborating with payroll vendor and internal teams to accomplish the following tasks:
- Lead the processing of payroll for team members in Colombia accurately and timely.
- Manage payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and submit payroll audits and/or reports as required.
- Partner with the Finance and Accounting team for payroll funding and reconciliation.
- Process day to day Payroll requests and queries; ensuring all Payroll critical administrative transactions are accurate and handled in a timely and compliant manner. Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Researches and resolves technical and functional issues, and responds to questions and requests within our ServiceNow case management system.
- Administer key processes such as onboarding and offboarding, employee changes, audits, and reporting.
- Serve as a point of contact for Payroll inquiries from our employees in Colombia; escalates as appropriate to Payroll functions and People Business Partners.
- Ensures continuous process improvement for all processes and works with business partners and other departments to execute.
- Assist with the documentation of internal processes and controls as needed. Key contributor to the creation of knowledge base content for Colombia, both internally and externally
- Partner with Workday team members to reconcile and audit data as needed.
- Assist with special Payroll projects – which can include plan, design, communication, training, and/or implementation logistics.
- Provide backup support for payroll processing for Mexico.
- 2-3 years of proven experience working in a Shared Services team in Payroll
- Business-level fluency in Spanish and English is required
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, professional, global business environment such as in customer service and/or support center preferred
- Experience in international and matrix organizations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work discretely on a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues
- Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and cultural practices in Latin America
- Attention to detail with a passion for excellent customer service; resourceful with a natural investigative curiosity
- Strong technical skills: Must be highly proficient with Workday or comparable HCM, as well as case management tool such as ServiceNow; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Work with a sense of urgency without sacrificing quality or accuracy; ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
