What You’ll Do

The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) Liaison will serve as the primary staffing interface between Slalom and AWS, supporting all resourcing needs. The role requires understanding AWS talent requirements, translating them into actionable staffing strategies, and building aligned teams. This role may evolve into co-sell collaboration in the future.

  • Staffing liaison between AWS ProServe and internal Slalom staffing.
  • Translate AWS requirements into clear, actionable skill profiles.
  • Partner with recruiting teams to align talent rapidly.
  • Support interview process to ensure success.
  • Guide towards scalable team compositions over unicorn sourcing (hiring for one niche specific skill)
  • Build understanding of Slalom’s talent pool and skills.
  • Manage expectations and communications with AWS stakeholders.
  • Hold AWS accountable for candidate timelines.
  • Work to streamline the process to shorten time to start as much as possible.
  • Facilitate regular meetings between AWS and Slalom leadership on resourcing priorities.
  • Track and report on staffing metrics, fulfillment rates, and candidate pipeline health.
  • Identify gaps in talent supply and proactively develop sourcing strategies with Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Maintain awareness of contracting requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end of onboarding and offboarding of Slalom consultants supporting AWS ProServe engagements, ensuring smooth transitions, access readiness, and alignment with project timelines.
  • Interfacing with Slalom leadership for staffing escalation.

What You’ll Bring

  • A strategic thinker with a passion for the staffing and consulting industry and a proven track record of driving growth through staffing.
  • Experience managing and coordinating staffing requests.
  • Experience working with and navigating AWS.
  • A connector’s mentality and exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with Slalom and AWS ProServe teams.
  • Strong project management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture concepts, and technical skill taxonomies.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Strong negotiation and expectation management skills.
  • Proven ability to build trust and credibility with external partner.

Compensation And Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the target base salary pay range in the following locations: Boston, Houston, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, San Diego, Washington DC, New York, New Jersey, for Manager level is $113,000-164,000 and for Senior Manager level it is $134,000-195,000.

In all other markets, the target base salary pay range for Manager level is $104,000- 151,000 and for Senior Manager level it is $123,000-179,000.

Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
