Team Operations Overview

Responsible for partnering in the creation and operationalization of core programs (onboarding, events, recognition, communications, etc.), cultivating culture, and partnering with leaders to foster the employee experience while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment across Slalom business units. Partners with leaders for administrative and strategic initiatives and ensures daily and long-term business objectives are met. Partners with Regional Teams and other business units to create and share programmatic best practices, resources, and community across the globe.

In-Office and Travel Expectations for Capability/ CCO/ GSE Team Operations

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you are onsite at your local office during core business hours for a minimum of 2 days per week (up to 5 days per week), depending on business needs.

Occasional travel is required based on business needs. Must be able to travel with advance and, at times, short notice and adapt to changing schedules as necessary.

What You’ll Do

A Lead delivers high quality work to meet broader team, project, or program objectives. They develop intermediate Team Operations knowledge and skills that enables them to make recommendations to improve existing processes and explore innovative solutions, enabling others to deliver high quality work as well. In addition, they actively mentor or coach team members.

Responsibilities

  • May be asked to support various special projects/ events as needed for the Office or Market, Capabilities Teams, PBPs, Global Services, etc.
  • Support the creation of the strategy and vision for all Capability/ CCO/ GSE programs, including onboarding, events, communications, recognition, and community.
  • Support the execution of Country Capability Leader/ CCO/ GSE vision
  • Deliver complex work to meet functional or program objectives and drive efficiencies and improvements
  • Ability to support the development of advanced Team Operations knowledge and skills to innovative high-quality solutions
  • Demonstrate values-based leadership, and actively work to mentor and coach team members and/or direct reports (where applicable)
  • Plan, oversee, document, and educate on all aspects of the projects you are managing; host “after-action reviews” to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify and implement solutions for automation and process improvement, driving efficiency and scalability across programs.

New Hire Onboarding

  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, People Leaders, IT, and Welcome Program to support new hires.
  • Support New Hire Orientation (Day 2), including scheduling, updating presentations, and facilitation (if applicable).
  • Ensure new hires are connected to necessary systems, capability specific events, and distribution lists.
  • Manage Welcome Buddy program within assigned Capabilities
  • Event and Meeting Support
  • Plan and produce virtual Capability/ CCO/ GSE team-wide meetings and events, including but not limited to scheduling, managing a run of show, creating the deck, facilitating a rehearsal, and executing the event.
    • Ex.) Capability All-Hands, Go-to-Market Priority Launches
    • Knowledgeable in both Zoom and Teams meeting functionality.
  • Support planning and execution of leadership or team offsites, including but not limited to set up/teardown, venue sourcing, contracting, food & beverage, communications, swag, design and collateral, registration, A/V, etc.
  • Support planning and execution of client, partner, or marketing events hosted by the Capability. Responsibilities to include but not limit attendance management, internal communications, room block management, T&E and budget tracking, etc. Onsite support (if applicable)
Communications

  • Own the strategy, structure, and ongoing management of the Capability SharePoint, calendar, and communication channels (e.g., MS Teams, Slack, etc.), collaborating with the Capability Country Leader and Chief of Staff to align on priorities and drive engagement.
  • Drive the creation and delivery of Capability newsletters (if applicable), aligning content with strategic goals.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across Capabilities and with Market Operations to ensure alignment and collaboration on various initiatives.

  • Drive the delivery and enhancement of Capability/CCO/GSE Awards Programs with a focus on creating a positive, people-centered experience that reinforces recognition and impact.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required (2+ years of office management or similar).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional communicator with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) and Zoom.
  • Have reliable transportation to/from office location as well as other event locations as needed.
  • Ability to lift and move 25 pounds.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary pay range is $80,000-$95,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
