As a Senior Manager of Team Operations, you will lead the Capabilities Plus (+) Operations Team within the Team Operations Enablement Team globally. You will work closely with senior leaders across Slalom to foster a unique and thriving culture, ensuring alignment between policies, procedures, and the desires of business leaders. This role requires adaptability, foresight, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional employee experiences.

Team Operations Overview

The Senior Manager of Team Operations for Capabilities+ is responsible for partnering in the creation and operationalization of core programs such as onboarding, events, recognition, communications, and employee experience initiatives. This role is pivotal in cultivating culture and partnering with leaders to foster a safe and inclusive environment across Slalom business units. The Senior Manager collaborates with regional teams and other business units to create and share programmatic best practices, resources, and community across the globe.

In-Office and Travel Expectations for Allshore/Business Operations/Capabilities/ CCO/ COO/ GSE Team Operations

  • This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you are onsite during core business hours minimum of 2 days per week (up to 5 days per week), depending on business needs.
  • Occasional travel is required based on business needs. Must be able to travel with advance and, at times, short notice and adapt to changing schedules as necessary.

Job Summary

A Sr Manager leads and delivers complex work that impacts cross-functional or cross-program objectives. They apply advanced Team Operations knowledge, skills, and broad business expertise to develop innovative and high-quality solutions. They provide values-based leadership to team members and/or direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • People Leadership to the Team Operations for Capabilities Plus Team within the Team Operations Enablement Team globally.
  • Develop and nurture relationships across the organization, both vertically and horizontally, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Guide the team in balancing policies and procedures with the desires of business leaders to create a unique and thriving culture.

Innovative Solutions And Impact

  • Utilize deep understanding of Team Operations ways of working to influence functional objectives, set priorities, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Plan complex, multi-step strategic approaches to solve problems, anticipate future issues, and create repeatable solutions for recurring challenges.
  • Promote and inspire innovative thinking among the team, leading efforts to evolve processes and policies guided by Slalom values and culture.

Communication And Collaboration

  • Communicate persuasively across multiple topics and settings, adjusting style to meet the needs of the team and stakeholders.
  • Plan and produce bi-monthly state of the office operations meetings for global Team Operations team members.
  • Liaison with global function teams to ensure excellent working relationships with Team Operations.

Employee Experience And Development

  • Create impactful employee experience programs for consultants and internal team members at Slalom.
  • Proactively connect employees to meaningful development experiences and ensure direct reports understand performance expectations.
  • Advocate for diverse points of view and backgrounds to be represented within the team.

Knowledge Management And Thought Leadership

  • Make meaningful contributions to intellectual capital and knowledge management within the functional domain.
  • Co-create and define team norms to facilitate collaboration and enable impact.

As a Member Of The Team Operations Enablement Team, You Will Also Have The Shared Responsibility Of Various Ongoing Administrative Tasks. Examples Include

  • Maintaining and updating contact and distribution lists, SharePoint pages, intake forms, spreadsheets, managing shared inboxes
  • Pulling reports and data (sometimes daily) to manually populate trackers, templates, and other spreadsheets to provide to other teams
  • Calendaring, scheduling, and shared inbox management

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required.
  • Proven expertise in Advanced Team Operations and Events knowledge and skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering accountability and collective responsibility.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional communicator with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and business needs, including occasional travel.

Compensation And Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary pay range is $100,000-$120,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
