The Technical Stage Staff (STAT) is responsible for supporting and assisting the Technical Director Entertainment, Stage Production Manager(s), and Head Stage Staff in delivering the highest‑quality entertainment experience to guests. This role involves working backstage across various entertainment venues during rehearsals and live performances, as well as providing support to the Entertainment Technical Team, Group Coordinator, and selected members of the Entertainment Division’s Management Team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in the assembly and disassembly of stage equipment and props
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Technical Theater, Sound, Lighting, or A/V preferred
• Background in stage and technical theater production (e.g., electrical, lighting, sound, or technical operations preferred)
• Internal candidates must have completed a minimum of one (1) full year in their original position with the company

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of technical disciplines, including sound, lighting, and rigging
• Ability to perform minor theatrical repair work (e.g., carpentry and painting)
• Familiarity with ship operations as they relate to production and entertainment
• Ability to stay up to date with advancements in the entertainment industry
• Proficiency in various software applications related to entertainment technology preferred
