Royal Caribbean Group’s Royal Caribbean International brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Lead, Business Intelligence Analytics, Product Development reporting to the Director, Analytics Product Development.
This position will focus on consumer product development.
This position will work onsite in Miami, Florida.

Product Development Strategy & Analytics is seeking a Lead Business Intelligence who will be responsible for tuning data into insights, and insights into faster, smarter, and greater impact for the department. The position is core to the area since the person will be responsible for providing reports on ships, venues, and private destinations which ultimately curate our guests’ experience. She or He will elevate the impact of analytics by supporting the Manager on generating performance reports for existing products and valuable insights for new ones. The ideal candidate is a data-driven and detailed oriented professional with excellent analytical skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with key departments to ensure data availability, accuracy, and alignment with evolving business requirements.
- Design and maintain robust data validation checkpoints to uphold data quality, consistency, and integrity across departmental reporting and analytics.
- Lead the development and optimization of interactive reporting solutions using Power BI and PowerPoint, ensuring high performance, automation of recurring reports, and accuracy in delivery.
- Establish and promote best practices in data visualization and dashboard usability, enabling non-technical stakeholders to derive insights effectively.
- Conduct advanced data analysis to uncover trends and actionable insights, collaborating closely with the manager to translate findings into strategic recommendations.
- Oversee the department’s data engineering efforts by determining which data sources from other areas should be leveraged, and ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and readiness of data within department’s Database for reporting and analytics purposes.
- Identify and explore new data sources to enhance Product Developments ability to make data driven decisions.
- Collaborate cross functionally to create and share new analyses, updates and opportunities that enrich the organization’s knowledge.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced Technical Proficiency: Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, DAX, SQL, Databricks, Power Query, and Power Automate.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: Committed to ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity, maintaining high standards of quality in all deliverables.
- Project Management & Collaboration: Adept at partnering with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration, align objectives, and influence partnerships assuring access to the most accurate and reliable data for strategic decision-making.
- Big Data & Real-Time Processing: Familiar with big data frameworks, capable of designing and organizing scalable reports, and knowledgeable in real-time data automation processing tools to support dynamic Dashboards.
- Analytical & Critical Thinking: Combining data insights with analytical rigor to identify strengths, uncover opportunities, and address weaknesses driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Bachelor’s in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Business Intelligence & Data Visualization.
- Strong analytical skills with a proficient ability to read/write SQL queries for data analysis.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of leveraging data insights to influence business decisions.
- Strong and effective communication, presentation and written skills and ability to work in global environment.
- Collaborative, self-motivated with a desire to lead strategic problem solving, execution and ownership.
