The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time HRIS Manager reporting to the Senior Director of HR Transformation.
This position works on-site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
The HRIS Manager leads a dedicated team responsible for data & audit management. They are responsible for overseeing all HR data management activities, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across the HRIS system. This role also manages the execution of all internal audits related to HR data and processes, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, the Manager coordinates system upgrade efforts for SAS HRIS platforms in collaboration with broader IT and HR teams, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions. While not responsible for system configuration, this role is pivotal in maintaining data quality, audit readiness, and supporting upgrades within the HRIS environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a global team:
- Assess team members’ skills, strengths, and development needs to effectively identify talent and growth opportunities.
- Allocate work assignments strategically to leverage individual strengths, promote engagement, and ensure both coverage and balanced workloads.
- Validate the accuracy and quality of the team's work, establishing standards and practices to maintain high performance.
- Reviewing and managing SLAs.
- Ensuring SOPs are created and followed.
- Monitor team progress, address skill gaps, and provide training.
- Team responsibilities
- Data Management:
- Oversee data entry, data management, and data quality processes.
- Develop and enforce data management protocols and standards to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor data accuracy and integrity across the HRIS, reporting and tracking system issues that impact data quality.
- Manage bulk data updates.
- Audits:
- Point of contact for SOX and other audits.
- Responsible for complying with HR related SOX controls and documenting adherence to the control measures.
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies or issues through thorough analysis and corrective actions.
- Document audit findings and partner to implement process improvements to prevent future discrepancies.
- Partner with HR Transformation and Technology and IT to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal data management policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
- System Upgrades:
- Lead and manage HRIS upgrade projects from planning to execution.
- Collaborate with the HR Transformation and Technology team, IT and external vendors to ensure seamless implementation of system upgrades and new features.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables for system upgrades.
- Coordinate testing and validation of new functionalities and patches before deployment.
- Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HRIS certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HRIS management or a related role with overall minimum of 8 years’ experience in HRIS.
- Proven experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Workday).
- Experience managing HRIS, upgrades, and data management.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and HR metrics.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
