- Lead cross-functional project teams, establish timelines and milestones, assess risks, and develop contingency plans.
- Oversee all logistics: venue selection, catering, audio-visual needs, staging, signage, registration, and on-site flow.
- Manage on-site event execution: supervise staff and vendors, coordinate activities, troubleshoot issues, ensure service levels, and maintain a high-quality attendee experience.
- Design and implement attendee communication plans, registrations, and post-event follow-up to maximize engagement and feedback.
- Develop measurement strategies, gather post-event feedback, analyze metrics, and deliver executive summaries with actionable recommendations.
- Build and mentor a small events team or coordinate with external partners; foster knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Maintain a rolling calendar of events, balancing priorities, avoiding scheduling conflicts, and aligning with business calendars.
- Stay current on event technology, trends, and best practices; evaluate and implement tools to improve efficiency and attendee experience.
