Royal Caribbean Group’s Global E-Commerce Data and Analytics Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, Strategy and Analytics reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing and E-Commerce Analytics.
The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
Our Business Intelligence team seeks a Manager, Strategy & Analytics to drive our loyalty strategy through data-driven insights. Their responsibilities include build dashboards, testing and planning pilots to inform our Loyalty and Targeted Offers strategy, as well as, tracking and measuring program performance that determine priorities and decision-making.
They will develop KPIs with the business team to drive performance, isolate trends and predict guest behavior through data. They will also assist in providing competitive analysis and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
To perform this position successfully, they should be a self-starter able to manage complex projects in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively to align Loyalty and Business Intelligence priorities and objectives.
- Lead the strategic evolution of Loyalty programs by influencing long-range planning, including the development of annual operating plans and 5- to 10-year strategic roadmaps.
- Partner closely with Data Science to guide the design and implementation of advanced predictive models and simulations that inform program optimization and member engagement strategies.
- Own the performance measurement framework for the Co-Brand credit card program, including dashboard creation, financial tracking, and KPI reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Drive innovation through the ideation, definition, and evaluation of Loyalty program pilots, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and customer insights.
- Deliver timely, actionable insights through ad hoc data analysis and reporting to support Loyalty initiatives and cross-functional decision-making.
- Manage the end-to-end Targeted offers campaign lifecycle for targeted promotions, including maintaining the monthly promotion calendar and aligning with Revenue Management on commercial priorities.
- Forecast booking volume and campaign impact using historical data and predictive analytics to inform offer strategy and resource allocation.
- Build and maintain a robust backlog of testable campaign concepts, leveraging guest behavior data to drive personalization and performance.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and SQL-based data pipelines to ensure accurate and timely reporting of promotional performance.
- Serve as a key contributor in Targeted Offer planning forums, providing strategic guidance, historical context, and performance insights to shape monthly campaign execution.
Qualifications and Education:
- 8+ years of work experience required, with experience performing either strategic digital analysis, financial analysis, or business intelligence/marketing analytics highly preferred.
- Experience in travel/leisure hospitality is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar.
- MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Passionate about economic, business, analytics, loyalty & financial concepts, as well as a subject matter expert in analytical tools.
- Thought leader who can derive insights and drive results in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Demonstrate ability to think beyond raw data and to understand the underlying business context and identify business opportunities.
- In depth understanding of data structure with the ability to use SQL or coding language to answer complex business questions.
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and partners, including Chief Marketing Officer and executive leadership team.
- Qualified in developing and delivering high quality, clear and concise analytics and presentations to Marketing Leadership.
- Team player that is highly motivated, and results driven with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Strong analytical and process improvement skills.
- Ability to deliver results in timely manner with consistency and precision.
- Able to build data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Experience in building models and business cases to forecast outcomes and financial impact of program changes.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate to Advanced SQL, Adobe Analytics, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required.
