Royal Caribbean Group’s Shipboard Recruitment team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Manager, Talent Marketing - Shipboard Recruitment reporting to the Director, Global Sourcing.
This role will work onsite in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary
The Manager, Talent Marketing – Shipboard Recruitment plays a foundational role in building and operationalizing global marketing infrastructure for attracting shipboard talent. This position is responsible for establishing core marketing processes, assets, and activation models that increase candidate awareness and strengthen the overall recruitment funnel across international markets. The manager develops early-stage frameworks, coordinates cross-channel campaign execution, sources new vendors, and ensures communication consistency across global audiences.
The manager will design new workflows, pilot campaigns, partner with analytics to interpret early trends, evaluate and source new marketing vendors, conduct RFP processes, and refine operations as the model matures. The role requires strong execution capability, vendor sourcing competency, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to turn insights into repeatable marketing practices. The scope and responsibilities of this role will evolve as the shipboard sourcing strategy scales globally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Marketing Foundations & Process Building
- Build the shipboard talent marketing foundation, including templates, briefs, content libraries, and campaign playbooks.
- Establish campaign intake workflows, channel activation processes, and operational guidelines for shipboard recruitment teams.
- Pilot new marketing approaches in priority markets and refine them based on performance and recruiter feedback.
- Candidate Journey Coordination
- Support development of candidate journey touchpoints across digital channels, ensuring alignment with recruitment stages.
- Coordinate with the global sourcing team and corporate talent marketing team to synchronize messaging and timing.
- Ensure marketing assets support a cohesive candidate experience from awareness through application.
- Vendor Sourcing, RFP & Market Evaluation
- Identify, research, and evaluate new marketing vendors and platforms to expand global recruitment capabilities.
- Lead RFP processes, proposal reviews, and vendor comparisons in partnership with Procurement.
- Coordinate vendor demos, pilot projects, and service evaluations.
- Support contract routing, track vendor deliverables, and ensure invoice accuracy with Procurement and Finance.
- Channel Activation & Optimization
- Manage day-to-day activation on global platforms, including job boards, social channels, and CRM systems.
- Coordinate timing for campaigns aligned with events, hiring seasonality, and urgent recruitment needs.
- Run A/B tests to inform asset performance and channel optimization strategies.
- Data-Informed Execution
- Partner with analytics teams to collect baseline sourcing metrics and contribute to dashboard development.
- Consolidate performance insights and recommend practical adjustments to campaigns and channel strategies.
- Track global marketing activity and compile insights for quarterly recruitment reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Brand Alignment
- Coordinate with Corporate Communications and Brand Marketing to maintain tone and visual consistency.
- Work closely with regional recruiters, event teams, school partners, and hiring partners to adapt assets to local needs.
- Ensure alignment between employer brand messaging and shipboard-specific talent communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- 6–9 years of experience in marketing, employer branding, or recruitment operations.
- Strong experience building or implementing new marketing processes or programs.
- Demonstrated ability to source, evaluate, and coordinate vendors
- Ability to interpret data and apply insights to refine marketing execution.
- Strong coordination and communication skills across global and matrixed teams.
