Royal Caribbean team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Specialist VDMO reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Systems and Automation.

Position Summary

The VDMO Specialist provides support to the supplier community via the company’s Vendor Registration Portal. This role is responsible for facilitating vendor onboarding, maintaining accurate system data, and ensuring compliance with established procedures and workflows. The Specialist collaborates with Accounts Payable, Compliance & Ethics, and Risk Management to support vendor record validation in alignment with company guidelines. Success in this role requires attention to detail, familiarity with system operations, and the ability to perform routine administrative and troubleshooting tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage user access and provide onboarding support for Apex Analytics.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries regarding the vendor registration process.
  • Support emergency onboarding submissions with clear guidance and timely follow-up.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly reports, including vendor-related KPIs.
  • Generate ad hoc reports to identify and improve inefficiencies in the onboarding process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. This description may be updated or modified by management to reflect evolving responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate a degree of creativity with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong with methodologies, tools, best practices, and processes within specific area of responsibility

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in system support or a similar technical role.
  • Proficient in Power BI report development and data visualization.
  • Demonstrates strong expertise and practical knowledge within the designated area of responsibility.
  • Apex Portal and or JDE knowledge is a plus (Not required)
  • Able to formulate, communicate and implement solutions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with peers.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirement

While performing job functions the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, write, review and type reports, compile data, operate a pc, communicate, listen, and assess information. The employee may move about the office complex, may travel to other office locations and may lift, push, pull or move 10 - 15 pounds. Visual requirements include distant, close and color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
