Royal Caribbean Group’s Safety, Security & Environment has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Analyst, Global Intelligence reporting to the Manager, Global Intel and Threat Analysis

Position Summary:

The position of Global Intelligence Analyst is critical to the development of timely and coherent intelligence relevant to the threats and vulnerabilities of RCG’s global human, capital and reputational assets and the development of plans to mitigate vulnerabilities.

The Analyst will support the organization’s efforts to proactively identify, assess, and communicate risks that may impact operations, personnel, brand reputation, and strategic initiatives worldwide. The role involves gathering, analyzing, and reporting on security, geopolitical, criminal, and crisis-related intelligence to enable informed decision-making and risk mitigation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Analyst will:

  • Collect, analyze, produce, and disseminate critical and time-sensitive information of relevance to the safety and security of Company personnel and the organizations global assets and operations.
  • Establish ongoing Internal and External relationships and networks of information 24/7 to collect and analyze relevant tactical information that drives the business and allows the leadership to communicate to executives and stakeholders regarding threats, as they develop.
  • Conduct threat assessment by collecting, evaluating, and disseminating accurate and timely intelligence for production to appropriate company executives.
  • Actively monitor risk-related information relevant to existing or planned destinations, itineraries, and acquisitions, as well as corporate employees, Crew and physical assets.
  • Assist with the consolidation, evaluation, analysis, and distribution of raw data and information from open sources, third-party provider subscriptions, private industry partners, and government/law enforcement sources to identify trends and patterns and to prepare detailed analyses in a timely fashion.
  • Identify and recommend strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Conduct social media analysis and use data collection tools to gather information.
  • Prepare briefs, reports, and advanced analytical products to include risk assessments for the use of organizational leadership, senior executives and other intelligence consumers in a manner that meets their specified requirements and informs their corporate decisions.
  • Work in tandem with the Global Investigations Team to conduct incident driven analytics to address prevention and best practices.
  • Serve as a member of the Situational Management Team during critical incidents or natural disasters impacting operations.

Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Security Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with intelligence, law enforcement, or private sector corporate intelligence; or analytical position in maritime security role.
  • Experience working in a diverse environment with multi-national constituents.
  • Expertise in all-source research; demonstrating resourcefulness, versatility, ingenuity and originality in the collection, synthesis, and integration of intelligence from multiple sources in reporting and correspondence. Experience conducting risk assessments preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in the utilization of personal computers within a Windows environment including e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Mass Notification Systems.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills to provide quality work with minimum direction while preparing clear and concise reports.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively across departments with and in support of corporate executives and their subordinates at a variety of levels within the company.
  • Ability to consolidate ideas, information, and data; produce sound strategies; and clearly communicate (both verbal and written) those strategies to a variety of levels within and outside the company.
  • Understanding of International affairs and global nuances.
  • Ability to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Requires excellent written, communication, analytical, and evaluation skills.
  • Understanding of global political, economic, and security environments.
  • Discretion and ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
