The Royal Caribbean Group’s Revenue Management team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Analyst, Revenue Initiatives reporting to the Lead, Sourcing Optimization and Revenue Initiatives.
Position is onsite and based in Miami, FL
The Senior Analyst, Revenue Initiatives is responsible for the strategic planning, analytics and execution of initiatives that drive profitable growth contributing to over $8B in net guest revenue per year. As a member of the Revenue Management Department, you will have the opportunity to set strategic direction, explore new revenue generating promotional initiatives and shape brand strategy. You will create and own reporting on such initiatives while having exposure to senior leadership. This role needs to collaborate with stakeholders within Revenue Management (Product, Operations & Strategy) as well as stakeholders outside the department including Marketing, Sales, International, Onboard Revenue among others.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Display analytical and modeling skills for various Revenue generating Initiatives including Sourcing Profitability, Guest Demand optimization and more.
- Leverage project management skills to assist/lead department efforts. This includes organizing project plans, scope, timelines, and regular communication cadence associated with complex efforts (commercial capabilities, etc.).
- Responsible for developing strategic and tactical responses to changes in a competitive environment, pricing and strategy.
- Communicate status of current environment and strategies regarding assigned initiatives to key partners like Sales, Marketing, and International and Hotel Operations.
- Maintain, optimize, and create analytical tools, including understanding of demand trends and booking curves by key segments, finding efficiencies, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or master’s degree (MA) preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year college or university required with focus in quantitative discipline preferred.
- Two to four years related experience in financial/commercial/business analysis or related field required.
- Strong skillset with SQL and BI related principles such as ETL, data modeling, & data warehousing.
- Proficiency in Excel, Brio Intelligence/Hyperion Studio, Toad Oracle SQL, PowerBI, Knime, Word, and PowerPoint required.
- Previous experience with project management.
- Ability to successfully communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences with a desire to work in a collaborative, intellectually curious environment with the ability to interact across various teams, strong financial business acumen.
- Must be able to demonstrate understanding of revenue management concepts, tools and understanding of basic economics.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail while working in global environment.
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving with large financial impacts.
- Ability to produce high-quality standard of work with minimal supervision.
