Position Summary:
The Sr. Analyst for CareTeam is responsible for the expense management for all CareTeam operations as well as the analytical reports related to financial and case management operations. The Sr. Analyst will be responsible with familiarizing and integrating themselves into the overall CareTeam operation. Sr. Analyst must fully understand all CareTeam’s KPIs, goals, deliverables, business commitments, provide analysis and make recommendations when applicable.
The Sr. Analyst will support CareTeam management with analytical data and visibility on their targets while providing insight and guidance on improvements and/or efficiencies that can be made for overall improvement. In addition, this role will also support CareTeam shift coverage as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Invoice and Billing Management
- Responsible for ensuring all CareTeam invoices are reviewed for accuracy and processed in a timely manner as per internal guidelines.
- Maintain expertise in utilizing IMS, Tungsten, and UHC portals.
- Work with related departments, such as port operations and emergency travel, to track CareTeam related costs not processed directly by the Sr. Analyst.
- Manage tracking tools for invoice management and as needed, develop more advanced ones.
Vendor Engagement
- Establish and maintain the use of rate sheets to reduce cost overage through IMS with all vendors.
- Identify opportunities to improve operating performance through information gathering and analysis.
- Serve as primary vendor contact for the CareTeam.
- Responsible for the onboarding of new vendors, including Apex and IMS set up.
Operational Reporting and Analysis
- Assist in developing and implementing benchmark reports for the case management and costs of operations.
- Produce regular reports to identify trends and variances related to case management and costs of operations, leading to plans of action.
- Design models for monthly / quarterly / yearly reports and forecasts in support of all CareTeam operations.
- Combine data from various sources as necessary to provide transparent cost forecast for CareTeam operations
- Identify data quality gaps and suggestions for improvement.
Additional Tasks
- Assist CareTeam Lead in any special projects, including surveys, special events and presentations.
- Assist in regular administrative tasks.
- Assist in maintaining updated SOP’s and guidelines.
- Submit control sheets for SQM updates.
- Provide on duty coverage for case managers as needed.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
- Four-year Bachelor's or equivalent (MBA preferred); or four to ten years related business analysis experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of operational personnel.
- Strong PC skills are required.
- Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced skills in IMS, Tungsten and UHC preferred.
- Advanced skills in Riskonnect/Salesforce preferred.
- Advanced skills in Smartsheet and Power BI preferred.
