This position will be working onsite from Miami.
Position Summary:
Responsible for strategically leading the execution and management of the production and content output to work within the Brand Marketing team overseeing the management of large-scale productions, content asset flow and management, budget management and triple bidding process, and interdepartmental ownership of producing planning and scheduling. Content evaluation and leadership will also be a key responsibility for this role. The position is instrumental in providing cross function teams with access to new video and still content that’s needed to keep our communications compelling and impactful in the market. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all productions for the brand. This will include TV video and photo production but could also include other multimedia productions. Lead the production process, from the scout, planning, scheduling, ship communication, asset collection and cataloging, and distribution. Establishing clear schedules and roles as project involvement can vary from internal shoots as well are external shoots
- Manage a production staff and lead multiple shoot assignments. These are not limited to ship board shoots, but also to destination shoots, and activations.
- Manage and own the suite reconciliation for the marketing department for all shoots, establish and own the department production calendar is conjunction with the Brand Lead and Creative Director to ensure production timing and in market dates and needs collaborate.
- Serve as the internal champion for production requests, approvals and planning for the brand, this position will lead the organization and/or internal business partners by answering questions, responding to requests to shoot onboard and providing basic guidance and support.
- Manage timelines and workflows for production needs, internal teams, agency partners and other projects.
- Manage and execute all preparation, details, coordination for related TV, video and print shoots including prepping contracts, acquiring any necessary licenses / permits, determining quality control standards, securing travel, and ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
- Lead pre-production meetings with stakeholders; agencies, production companies, internal teams, ships staff, etc.
- Assist Lead, Brand & Onboard Marketing in the development of creative (TV & videos) and leveraging assets for global use for the promotion of branded programs to generate awareness and revenue.
- Assist Lead, Brand & Onboard Marketing in development of yearly plan and budget forecast and manage monthly billing process including accruals for agency and production costs, and consultant fees.
- Facilitate the retouching of images post brand photo shoots and B-Roll development post brand video shoots.
- Collaborate and manage the Content Management contractor to ensure all produced content is added to the server/servers/DAM with accurate nomenclature, tags, and categorization. The Content Management contractor will directly report to the Sr. AE Production
- Assists Lead, Brand & Onboard Marketing in the development of contracts for various projects including photo & film shoots, music licenses, voiceover agreements, agency contracts, stock image/footage agreements, 3rd party video usage agreements, drone contractors, etc.
- Oversees the maintenance of the digital asset library which includes uploading and organization of imagery, ensuring proper metadata is captured, managing expired images and providing guidance and support to users.
- Maintain updated reporting on Usage Rights and Holding fees for music, visuals, and talent used in Marketing advertising.
- Manages the Server/Servers which includes, keeping track of storage space, managing inventory, uploading, and organizing all assets as they are made available.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- BA/BS required in Marketing or like field.
- 2-5 years’ experience in brand marketing, production, and/or related marketing field.
- Hosting guests onboard and travel experience a plus.
- Experience working with both shoreside and shipboard teams to bring necessary stakeholders onboard.
- Experience collaborating with agencies and external vendors.
- To successfully adhere to the responsibilities stated, this individual must be prepared to travel 15% of the time (3 - 4 times a year)
- Advanced knowledge of guest booking and travel processes.
- Experience working cross-functionally with hotel operations and revenue management.
- Experience in content development with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to be able to communicate with all levels of management, internal stakeholders, agency contacts and travel partners.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and guests onboard.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Expert presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise high degree of tact and diplomacy in interpersonal. relations at all levels of the company, as well as with external contacts.
- Ability to provide solutions under time constraints.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
