Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Treasury Operations and Financial Risk Management, the Manager, Treasury Hedging and Derivatives oversees balance sheet translational exposure and transactional exposure to FX, Interest Rates, and Fuel markets. The position is also responsible for overseeing accounting and economic exposure analytics, derivatives internal and external disclosures, policies and procedures updates, as well as other financial markets research. The position interacts with internal departments such as Accounting, Revenue Planning & Analysis, Corporate Planning, Global Marine Operations, ESG, Procurement and Audit.
This position will report onsite in Miami, FL
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees collection, research, and analysis of global balance sheet translational exposure
- Manages the evaluation, performance, and optimization of balance sheet hedging strategies
- Oversees balance sheet hedging trade execution and monthly derivatives settlements
- Manages accounting exposure reporting design and analytics in the ERP system
- Drafts presentations for the Hedge Committee, Hedge Advisory Committee, and others
- Oversees monthly and quarterly derivatives disclosure reports for 10Q, 10K, and investor’s calls
- Leads project to generate new or update exposure management policies and procedures

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- 5 – 10 years of hedging and derivatives experience
- Finance, Accounting, Economics or related undergraduate degree required
- MBA, CTP, CFA, or CPA credentials are desirable
- Experience with global companies and exposure to multi-asset exposure classes
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Exceptional understanding of derivatives and the associated accounting impacts
- Excellent financial markets research abilities
- Exceptional Excel, Database, ERP and presentation skills
- Highly effective in both verbal and written communication skills
- Strong financial systems knowledge including FIS Integrity and Bloomberg
- Ability to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Must be forward-thinking
- In accordance with this is the ability to write reports and letters grammatically correct in English.
Financial Responsibility
- FX balance sheet portfolio of 14 currencies averaging $1 billion
- FX new build portfolio of $2.5 billion
- Interest rate portfolio of $1.4 billion
- Fuel portfolio of $1 billion
- EUAs portfolio of $50 million.
