Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support with the development of Quality Management process and Framework and Develop a Quality management plan
- Lead the Quality Management reviews for Newbuild on a quarterly basis
- Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or common issues.
- Support Newbuild with self-reported non-compliance items
- Lead scheduling and coordination for Internal and external Audits
- Ensure the proper tracking and update of audit finding and action plans
- Conduct detailed reviews of SQM policies and procedures and including periodic reviews, updates, and version control
- Perform periodic audits on company procedures and processes.
- Establish compliance operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, accumulating resources, resolving problems, and implementing change.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Lead, as required, Enterprise Quality Management working sessions.
- Ability to be hands on and personally execute on deliverables.
- High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, dynamic, rapid-growth global company.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and creative in working with incomplete information.
- Manage multiple priorities and projects and communicate the progress of the projects to the team and business partners.
- Work to improve and deliver enhancements to existing tools through implementing recommendations made through internal reporting/validation reporting or external benchmarking.
Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, business administration, Engineering or risk management. Advanced degrees, such as a master’s in risk management or an MBA, Preferred
- Previous experience with Auditing, Risk, Quality, ISO 9001 Standards
- Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), or Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) Preferred
- At least 10 years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk
- Requires knowledge of operational risk management practices for a significant, complex and/or large-scale business
- Strong analytical skills to assess and quantify risks effectively. This includes the ability to analyze financial data, market trends, and other relevant information to make informed decisions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
