The Royal Caribbean Group’s Risk Management team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Risk Management Analyst reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk Management Systems & Monitoring.


This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.

Position Summary:

This position performs analytic and administrative activities focused on key Risk Management initiatives and participates in the development, assessment and implementation of the Risk Management organization’s strategy focused on Shore Excursion and Tour Operator Compliance Program and other programs/operations as needed including but, not limited to Crew Medical, Guest Claims, Litigation, Injury Prevention, and/or Insurance & Claims Finance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares continual analysis and monitoring of the Shore Excursion Compliance program and follows up with the respective internal and external contacts to remedy any identified issues.

  • Documents, evaluates, and audits overall Tour Operator responsiveness and incident/comment frequency through ServiceNow, and communicates findings to management. Provides analytics to management for distribution and follow up internally and externally. Escalates trends and anomalies.

  • Conducts research and analytical studies, preparing reports that may include cost analyses, comparative financial data, and informational data to support findings.

  • Understand and uses system solutions to drive department efficiencies.

  • Trains operational groups within the department to ensure systems are used accurately and completely and provides tools to help them manage their business.

  • Work with management and senior members of the team throughout the compliance management process. Analyze past incident data for management review and/or potential legal cases presented against the company including working with GTO Brand Account Managers and Executives as needed to receive reasonable responses from the Tour Operators.

  • Prepares departmental presentations and other special projects as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Degree from an accredited University is required, or

  • One to three years of related data analysis or an appropriate combination of education and experience.

  • Able to interact effectively with various levels of management and handle multiple priorities/tasks

  • Able to recognize the existence of problems or potential problems and determine if further research is needed or if assistance is required

  • Self-motivated, adaptive, proactive, quick learner, and works well with others with minimum supervision, in a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Strong technical, analytic, problem solving and communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Strong attention to detail, yet maintain a big-picture point of view

  • Excellent PC skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
