NOTE: This is a full-time in-person role based in the company’s headquarters in Miami, FL. Applicants must be available to work in Miami– Thursday, with work from home on Friday.

Position Summary:

This position will support the Port Vetting and Data Analytics efforts within Port Services and will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of database, workflow automation, and reporting tools. This person will work closely with internal organizations within RCG such as Deployment, Marine Operations, and Guest Port Services in order to maintain accurate and accountable databases, support our analytics initiatives, and develop and maintain holistic reports and correspondence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support tracking and establishing standardized operational metrics and data driven performance monitoring by using predictive and descriptive analytics for port related operational performance trends, gaps, and potential opportunities. This includes looking at guest flows, guest ratings, ship maneuvers, terminal performance, operational costs, and efficiency as it relates to total cost of operations.
• Participate in the design and maintenance of a port/berth information database to centralize and socialize with the larger corporation relevant port information including but not limited to: berth specifications and capacities, terminal specifications, services available, booking policies, and any other port intelligence for efficient decision making for the brand Deployment and Itinerary planning.
• Support development and implementation of Port Services systems, reporting, and user tools. Drive efficiency improvements and technical improvements to our systems and data analytics program.
• Lead initiatives, determining user requirements and business needs to develop new reporting, while incorporating understanding of the business and our current systems.
• Responsible for working cross-functionally to identify opportunities to drive and improve processes, presenting findings to Management.
• Perform industry and financial/ business research analysis as needed.
• Be willing to actively participate in professional organizations and conferences related to port operations and development.
• Remain current with industry trends, especially as related to ports and port services.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, data management, or other related fields; 1 to 2 years of business analytics experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality, clear and concise presentations
• Pro-active and collaborative approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in PowerBI
• Familiarity with project management and systems management
• Familiarity with database management, database tools and analytical tools and concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn new tools
• Attention to detail required
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of co-workers both virtually and in person
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with ability to handle multiple projects
