The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Sr. Manager, Channel Strategy - Host on the Sales Team reporting to the Director, National Accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership and management for the North American Sales Channel Strategy, with an emphasis on the Host and Franchise models within the Celebrity Cruises Sales organization.

  • Provide deliverables and directly responsible for setting and executing the strategic direction of the sales operational components necessary to ensure success over responsible channel(s).

  • Responsible for the in-depth analysis of the travel partner segment, developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy that takes into account industry trends, marketing, B2B CRM tools, motivation, business goals and incentives by partner.

  • Identify trends, partners, opportunities, and technology to implement channel strategies that drive profitable revenue growth, deepen B2B business, relationships, and effectiveness of programs with such accounts and channel.

  • Develop and manage campaigns and communications that generate measurable results for the channel. Responsible for ensuring account specific Sales Managers are successfully executing campaigns.

  • Partner with each Sales Manager owning top accounts in channel in an advisory capacity to deploy strategies, conduct business/channel reviews, increase 2nd phone field agencies with top accounts in channel.

  • Partner with Sales Communication and Training team to develop communication and marketing strategies.

  • Partner with Sales Automation leadership to leverage and maximize CRM tools and systems.

  • Partner with Sales Analysis to create channel reporting and report trends, insights, and successes to senior leadership monthly.

  • Develops tactical promotion strategies channel with accountability for ROI analysis and practice-sharing.

  • Partner with Director of Sales to develop strategies to fill gaps or take advantage of opportunities within region(s).

  • Role models core competencies and serves as a trainer/mentor within department and in partnership with Director of Sales, provides leadership and support in the professional development for the National Account Sales team.

  • Build a multi-tiered strategy to penetrate potential agencies including working with the trade marketing department to develop “Value Proposition” based campaigns, driving interest and bookings.

  • Track goals and progress to achieve quarterly and annual growth expectations.

  • Keep well-informed of industry and market trends and best practices.

  • Channel Sr Manager will perform other duties as required. This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.   • Reports into National Account organization and assists in team planning, training and presentations.

  • National Account Executives would report to this position.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University preferably in a related field, or combination of education and experience.

  • Experience: 6+ years’ experience in Sales and/or Marketing or a combination of education and years of experience.

  • Travel industry background required.

  • Proven experience with data and research to drive decisions.

  • Must be assertive, self-motivated, self-disciplined and a self-starter.

  • Must have strong business acumen.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must have organizational/presentation skills.

  • Proven outside sales experience preferred.

  • Must be able to travel up to 35% of the time and work weekends as needed.

  • Position is based in North America, with a requirement to work EST hours and be able to work in the Miami HQ office a minimum of one week a month.
