The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Entertainment Experience, Enrichment Specialist on the Fleet Entertainment Team reporting to the Director, Entertainment Experience.

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the coordination of the Beyond the Podium Program for the Celebrity Cruise Lines Fleet. Responsible for programming, air/travel arrangements, stateroom procurement, payroll and any other tasks related to Celebrity Cruises Entertainment for the Beyond the Podium Program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates travel for Enrichment Speakers for the Celebrity Cruises Fleet.

  • Assists Manager of Entertainment Experience with casting and programming for the Beyond the Podium Program.

  • Monitors and evaluates speakers, cultural shows, and clergy to ensure they meet and exceed expectations and embody the celebrity core values and quality standards.

  • Ensure all travel, hotels, and/or cars are booked at our contracted rates or lowest fares to maximize cost savings to the department.

  • Responsible for maintaining travel budget for Enrichment Speakers

  • Recovers monies from penalty tickets that are not used or changed by traveler changing or canceling ticket due to their own error.

  • Input all important and personal information, as predicated in the hiring process.

  • Maintains projections in E1, for travel purposes and sign on and offs for all long-term enrichment speakers and naturalist, including Medical and compassionate leave, and updates any essential information as pertaining to personal information on all musicians for all CEL ships. Enter new-hire information into Entertainment Management System.

  • Maintains contract database. Ensures that all contracts are sent, received, logged, fully executed, and forwarded to legal.

  • Works with the ECCR team to manifest Enrichment Speakers. Responsible for securing necessary cabins through the ECCR request processes and maintaining the cabin allotment in the Entertainment Management System.

  • Runs weekly, payroll, process to ensure all Enrichment speakers are paid in a timely fashion

  • Responsible for any inquiries and/or issues related to Enrichment speakers payroll

  • Responsible for reviewing and approving travel related expense reimbursement requests for Enrichment speakers.

  • Work directly with agents to provide sales approval for Enrichment Speakers merchandise.

  • Manage talent database, upload photos, technical rider, and other details for all Enrichment Speakers

  • Maintain the EMS (Entertainment Management System) schedule for Enrichment Speakers.

  • Support the shipboard team on all items related to the Enrichment Program

  • Review, analyze and report on Guest Medallia Scores in support of achieving Celebrity Cruises KPIs.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Entertainment, Arts Administration, or a minimum of one to three (1-3) year’s comparable work experience in the entertainment or cruise industry with an emphasis on programming

  • Proactive mindset, forward-thinker who acts with a sense of urgency and is on the pulse of trends within entertainment experiences, youth programming and the cruise industry

  • Excellent business communication skills both verbally and in writing; ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, analytics reports and legal documents

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from executive management, groups of managers, employees, staff and customers

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office software

  • Ability to build and maintain successful business relationships throughout the department, the company as a whole and with external vendors

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities

​​​​​​​

  • Previous hotel, resort, casino, theme park experience, a plus

​​​​​​​

  • Previous onboard cruise ship experience, a plus

​​​​​​​

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

​​​​​​​

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos

​​​​​​​

  • Ability to communicate effectively with various departments within the organization, both shipboard and shore side

​​​​​​​

  • This position requires up to 25% International travel. When in office, 75% of time working at Port of Miami office and up to 25% of the time at Production Studios in North Miami

  • Ability to build, challenge and develop a high caliber team both shoreside and shipboard
