The Sr. Analyst, Consumer Insights role drives to support brand, category, and creative strategies through the design, execution, and analysis of research. It partners with stakeholders to deliver timely, actionable insights, lead custom and syndicated studies, and ensure quality across vendors. The position builds strong business relationships, influences key decisions, and synthesizes insights to guide strategy.
This position is based in Miami, FL and is in the office 5 days a week.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Help support our cross-functional category, brand, and/or creative teams through the design, implementation, and insight generation for all respective primary research.
- Provide appropriate stakeholders with timely and insightful analyses
- Contribute to thoughtful and creative discussions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on insights findings and implications
- Help pressure test and validate newly onboarded marketing research vender partners
- Be a key participant in helping the Guest Insights function attain its vision
- Play an active role in a particular area of the function (e.g. brand health, concept testing, innovation, digital, etc.) and continue to raise the bar in our tools, processes, and insights.
- Must have a strong passion and technical ability
- Must be able to lead simultaneous multiple research/analysis initiatives
- Help support the strategic and tactical development, execution, evaluation and continuous improvement of all consumer research, and strategic analysis
- Builds strong relationships and fosters teamwork among agencies, suppliers and staff to achieve maximum performance.
- Leads the development, execution and evaluation of custom research projects and analysis of syndicated studies
- Develops relationships with strategic business partners and has an influence on key business decisions
- Ensures the consistency of studies and that suppliers meet Popeye's standards
- Presents results to key customers
- Lead the communication process and manages expectations regarding schedule, expectations and deadlines.
- Synthesizes the key brand and consumer insights across studies.
- Development of both qualitative and quantitative research techniques to support a variety of disciplines, including advertising research, concept development, communications, competitive intelligence, and brand development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3-5 years in a highly visible Consumer Insights or Market Research Department, skilled in strategy and tactical development
- Strong communication skills with a drive for success
- Has managed large scale research projects with short timelines and high speed
- Experience working with best-in-class research vendors
- Experience programming and fielding quantitative research projects
- Strong curiosity and passion for the consumer
- Advanced market research skills with extensive qualitative and quantitative experience.
- Retail/QSR experience an asset
