Job Overview:

The Sr. Manager, Direct Procurement, EMEA leads high-value sourcing strategies and supplier partnerships across the region and owns global RFPs and negotiations. Beyond contract execution and supplier performance management, the role is a key driver of RBI’s global initiatives, including contingency planning and supplier risk management. This is a highly visible position with exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape procurement strategies that strengthen RBI’s global supply chain resilience and profitability.

The role is based in Zug, Switzerland and requires 5 days per week in the office.

Your roles & responsibilities:

· Develop and execute global sourcing strategies that support RBI’s business goals across multiple categories and markets.

· Lead and own negotiations and contract execution for high-value supplier agreements (>$600m), ensuring alignment with business objectives.

· Ensure compliance with sustainability, regulatory, and corporate policies.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

· Serve as a key contact for supplier negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.

· Provide market insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.

· Lead contingency planning frameworks to ensure supply resilience and risk mitigation.

· Conduct supplier risk assessments, stress tests, and proactive mitigation initiatives.

· Manage and coach a small team, providing guidance on procurement execution, supplier management, and best practices.

· Monitor spend, supplier performance, and market dynamics to generate actionable insights.

· Evaluate supplier proposals and optimize sourcing strategies.

Your skills & experience:

· At least bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

· 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, consulting, finance — with exposure to large-scale negotiations, strategic sourcing, or project management.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

· Proven experience influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders.

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).

· Experience managing teams and leading cross-functional initiatives is an additional plus.

· Familiarity with supply chain or data analysis systems is a plus.

· Background in quick service restaurant (QSR), consumer packaged goods (CPG), or franchised business model is a nice to have.
