Overview
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Operations Analytics, this analyst role supports both franchise operations digital tools and franchisee performance programs. The position helps maintain and improve the franchisee-facing mobile/web app, supports franchisee recruitment and owner recognition initiatives, and contributes to data-driven insights that drive restaurant operations forward.
This role works closely with cross-functional teams including Franchising, Operations Standards, Restaurant Technology, Field Operations, and Communications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to grow their career at the intersection of product, franchising, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Franchise Operations Tools
- Assist in gathering user feedback from franchisees, restaurant teams, and field staff to identify needs and opportunities.
- Support the development of product requirements, test cases, and QA for in-restaurant and franchisee-facing tools.
- Help maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track performance metrics and tool adoption.
- Provide coordination support on product launches, test markets, and stakeholder communications.
Franchisee Performance Programs
- Maintain and clean source data to support the franchisee success system.
- Respond to ad-hoc inquiries from field teams regarding performance metrics and data accuracy.
- Support analysis of franchisee performance trends and expansion opportunities.
- Assist in vetting franchisee applications and coordinating due diligence reports.
- Maintain tracking systems and schedule interviews to support the recruitment pipeline.
- Coordinate logistics and timelines for the annual franchisee recognition and awards program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1–2 years of work experience or internships in product support, franchise/retail operations (QSR or franchising experience an asset), or analytics.
- Collaborative mindset and eagerness to work cross-functionally.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data to generate insights.
- Passion for the Tim Hortons brand and helping franchisees succeed.
