Role Summary

As a Senior Analyst, Operations Analytics for RBI’s Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how we assess and enhance operational performance and customer experience across our portfolio of brands. You’ll leverage data to uncover insights, identify opportunities, and support cross-functional teams in driving operational excellence at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze operations and guest experience data across all RBI brands in the LAC region to identify performance trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and root cause investigations on operational challenges using structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Translate data findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for internal teams and franchise partners.

Data Quality and Governance

  • Build, manage, and optimize interactive dashboards that clearly communicate operational KPIs, performance drivers, and business outcomes.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Tech teams to guide the integration of multiple, large-scale data sources into RBI’s cloud data environment.
  • Establish and maintain strong data governance practices to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of all performance-related data.
  • Conduct regular audits and validation checks to identify and correct data discrepancies or integrity issues across systems and platforms.
  • Ensure usability and clarity of data products for a variety of stakeholders, from field teams to senior leadership.

Cross Functional Engagement

  • Work closely with Field Operations Teams and Franchisees to co-create action plans that drive improvements in restaurant performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Support the preparation of Business Review materials and regional performance updates with data-driven storytelling.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer feedback providers and delivery aggregators, ensuring alignment on performance metrics and data reporting.

Operational Excellence & Field Support

  • Leverage your QSR or restaurant management experience to contextualize data insights with real-world operational knowledge.
  • Support restaurant teams with hands-on problem solving and data-backed operational recommendations.
  • Serve as a thought partner to field leaders, bringing a balance of analytical precision and practical execution.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 3 years in analytics, consulting, operations performance, or business intelligence roles (ideally in QSR, hospitality, retail, or similar industries).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced Excel and data visualization experience (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
    • Experience working with large datasets; SQL or similar language proficiency preferred.
    • Experience with Python is a plus
  • Profile Fit: quantitatively focused background—through education or work experience—who has also worked in a QSR environment, ideally in a restaurant leadership or management role.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of restaurant or hospitality operations, including common KPIs and performance levers.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Languages:
    • Spanish – Fluent (required)
    • Portuguese – Proficient (preferred)
    • English – Business-level (required)
