Our Opportunity:
The Product & Promotion Execution team owns the entire Market Test and National Launch process for all product and promotions across Burger King US. The team also proactively reviews the foundations of the restaurants and its systems, with all cross-functional teams, to ensure they are ready for upcoming initiatives.
The Sr. Analyst, Market Test Execution leads all cross-functional activities across BK NA Marketing, Ops, Legal, Analytics, Communications, and vendors amongst 20+ other cross-functional teams to ensure systems are functioning well and new activations are properly executed. This position also collects and implements feedback from the BK US Franchisees and all internal stakeholders to improve the overall product and promotion launch process across all supporting business functions. The position is highly collaborative and involves working directly with internal and external stakeholders cross- functionally to ensure successful launches across the country.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Cross-functional project management of all initiatives and ongoing activities related to product and promotions launched in specific DMAs during market tests
· Perform weekly routines across all business areas around current and upcoming product and promotion projects and calendar activations
· Validate the operational and execution plans of upcoming activations. This includes high-traffic driving initiatives and product related communications
· Communicate in an effective manner with the field, Franchisees, restaurants, and other relevant BK and RBI areas on any updates or upcoming initiatives
· Provide resolution and track all launch issues/events along with follow ups on progress, recommendations and learnings, taking corrective actions to ensure process improvement, travel to market when required
· Strong ability to work internally with internal-based teams, with the BK NA Field Team, and with Franchisees and their restaurants
· Partners closely with BK NA Marketing, Ops, Legal, Analytics, Communications, and vendors amongst 20+ other cross-functional teams to ensure systems are functioning well and new activations are properly executed.
· Works with vendors, suppliers, and supply chain, including RSI, Coke, and more, to ensure Burger King NA support is priority
· Improves the health of restaurant systems to increase sales and support sales-driving initiatives
· Challenges current processes and leads special projects to iterate and improve product and promotion execution
Skills:
· Track record of strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and creativity.
· Ability to manage large data sets
· Must be a strong project manager, able to interact cross functionally, communicate effectively, and lead teams towards a common goal
· Must be solution oriented, able to dissect information, see opportunities, preempt issues, and find solutions
· Must have excellent oral and written skills to include formal presentation experience and the ability to prepare and present development presentations
· Must have the ability to interface and maintain excellent professional relationships with a variety of audiences including franchise partners, food vendors/manufactures, and internal teams.
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
· Excellent organization skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once.
· BS degree
Desired Skills (Non-Required):
· Proficient with Project Management tools such as Smartsheets, Trello, Monday, MS Teams, MS Planner, etc.
· Passion and Knowledge of the QSR Industry
