Job Summary:

The Manager, Deals will support the efforts of RBI to expand Burger King, Tim Hortons, Popeyes and Firehouse Subs brands in Latin America and the Caribbean through Development Agreements (DAs) with new and existing partners. This includes sourcing new partners, preparing financial models, pitch decks, diligence materials and internal approval materials, and reviewing legal documents. DAs are key to RBI’s growth model, and this role will involve learning about different deal structure and agreement terms to understand how business is done between RBI and its partners across the globe. The role also involves reporting key updates to the leadership team and the board. This role will have significant exposure to senior leadership and involve building relationships with different functional teams and brand teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supports development agreement negotiations with potential investors—preparing financial models, pitch decks, diligence materials and internal approval materials and reviewing legal documents
  • Participates in investor calls and meetings with PE firms, real estate groups, entrepreneurs, local restaurateurs, local retail operators, etc.
  • Conducts due diligence on potential investors, including scheduling and organizing in-person Discovery Days with potential investors
  • Owns all leadership reporting—weekly deal tracker, monthly steering decks, quarterly board packs, executive committee and off‑site updates—delivered accurately and on time
  • Manages and updates deals term database
  • Tracks KPI scorecard for each signed DA (development schedule adherence, capex deployment, first‑year sales)
  • Maintains brand performance tracking, especially related to new country entries
  • Supports other special projects and analysis

Required Skills:

  • Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Finance preferred
  • 2-5 years of professional experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills—ability to collaborate with different departments across the four brands to collect variety of data and prepare pitch deck and Q&A response presentations to potential investors
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
  • Experience in financial modelling, sensitivity and valuation analyses

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in financial modeling is a plus
  • Proficiency in Onestream, PowerBI and SAP is a plus
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish is a plus
  • Experience negotiating franchise or real‑estate agreements in emerging markets
