Position Description

RBI is looking for a candidate with fraud prevention experience to join our ‘Payments and Fraud’ team that supports all four of our brands. This role will largely focus on the North American market but will also support our global presence from time to time. The payments and fraud prevention industry is rapidly expanding and this role would offer an exceptional opportunity to expand a skillset in both on a global scale.

This position will drive insights on key trends within the organization. Specifically looking for a great mind that can help analyze key trends and be the Fraud data subject matter expert. An ideal candidate should have knowledge of restaurant and/or small-ticket customer experience, previous exposure to payments data/processes, chargeback processes and advanced familiarity with business analytics.

This position will regularly collaborate and work cross-functionally with IT / Tech Department, IT Security, Finance, Marketing, Customer Resolution and Legal as well as regular touchpoints with our payment and fraud prevention external vendor partners.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop an understanding of the payments platform and processes to deliver deep analytical insights (trends, KPI’s, payment processing costs, alert monitoring, etc.)
  • Create operational reporting and act as the lead for the day-to-day performance measurement of our payment platform
  • Utilize knowledge of performance data to help inform the payments and fraud roadmap
  • Help create visualizations and dashboards to trend/track metrics and alerts
  • Analyze outcomes, report results in a consistent format that can be comprehensible to a varied set of audiences
  • Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to security and fraud
  • Explore potential with submitting evidence to dispute chargebacks
  • Identify areas of improvement within fraud space
  • Help identify, prioritize and implement payments optimization strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally with Business, Product, Legal, Finance and Technology teams to ensure payment initiatives and priorities are well defined, understood, and executed
  • Manage some day-to-day payments processing projects to ensure RBI Brands properly accept relevant payment methods in-store and online.

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelors’ in CS, Statistics, Business, Economics or similar experience
  • 3+ years’ experience using analytics to drive key business decisions; business/product/marketing analytics, business intelligence, and strategy consulting
  • 2+ years of payments industry experience with direct experience in eCommerce and in-store payments
  • Demonstrate good understanding of end-to-end payments processing, including payments landscape and payment methods – card and wallet-based payments, card networks, payment acquiring and processing
  • Experience with analyzing card payment KPIs data to optimize payments processing
  • Understanding of statistical analysis and common pitfalls of data analysis
  • Experience working with large acquiring and fraud prevention third-party vendor partners
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Experience with Datadog, Snowflake or comparable software a plus
  • Spanish speaking skills are a plus
