Role Description: Supports the Brand Marketing leadership team in progressing our band equity and in delivering strong business performance through effective calendar planning. The Manager, Calendar Planning is responsible for managing and tracking calendar alignments and for working with cross functional partners to ensure teams are informed about and aligned to the national calendar direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports Brand Marketing leadership prioritization of product and value initiatives.
  • Executes organizational alignment on national calendar.
  • Partners with Supply Chain and Commercialization teams to thoughtfully mitigate product liabilities and go/no go decisions.
  • Acts as the main liaison to cross functional partners and deliver weekly calendar updates to marketing and operations organization.
  • Organizes/leads internal alignment meetings, track and document key decisions, share changes with cross functional partners.
  • Collaborates with various cross-functional departments such as Operations, Marketing Analytics, Insights, Media, PR, Communications, Digital, and Supply Chain to manage categories, calendar and sales activations .
  • Leverages several sources of data to derive National and Regional sales trends, product mix, price positioning, menu architecture, and product margins.

Required Skills:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
  • 3-7+ years of work experience in CPG, Retail, or related field, with passion and knowledge of or interest in the QSR Industry
  • Track record of exceptional project management, analytical skills, creative problem-solving capabilities, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once
  • Strong business acumen with a high sense of curiosity
  • Advanced skill level using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to interact cross functionally, communicate effectively, and lead teams towards a common goal
  • Highly organized and motivated with a desire to outperform
  • Must be solution-oriented, able to dissect information, see opportunities, pre-empt potential issues, and find solutions
