Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Sr Analyst, Category Management – Firehouse Subs (North America) to join our Marketing Team based in Jacksonville, FL. The position will be responsible for the development and implementation of the overall strategy for specific food and beverage categories to drive brand growth. Strategy will be developed by supporting the successful ideation, development, testing, consumer research, and launch of new menu items as well as the development and implementation of an enhanced cross-functional process to launch menu items. Additionally, this position will conduct individual analysis of industry, competitive, and consumer trends and activities to identify new opportunities for product expansion. Finally, this individual will take full ownership of the program when bringing a finalized product to national launch coordinating the entire Firehouse cross functional team to support a successful nationwide roll-out in over 1,200 restaurants.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Leads regular analysis of industry, competitive, and consumer trends and activities
  • Leverages several sources of data to derive National and Regional sales trends, product mix, price positioning, menu architecture, and product margins
  • Collaborates with various cross-functional departments such as Operations, Marketing Analytics, and Supply Chain to manage programs for his/her assigned categories
  • Prepares briefings for Marketing Communications for any new product/promotional launches
  • Creates Executive presentations for strategic projects in a logical and well-thought out manner Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Support Director of Category and Calendar in developing business cases and strategic 3 year plans for our category portfolio, emerging opportunities, limited time offerings (LTOs), promotional tactics, and product/portfolio optimizations.

Required Skills:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field 2-4 years of work experience in CPG, Retail, or related field
  • Strong business acumen with a high sense of curiosity
  • Exceptional analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills
  • Advanced skill level using Excel and PowerPoint Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and motivated with a desire to outperform
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
