Our Opportunity: Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Sr. Analyst, Marketing Strategy - Popeyes (North America) to join our Marketing Team based in Miami, FL. The position will be responsible for the development and implementation of the overall strategy for growth in menu items, occasions, and/or channels to optimize sales. Strategy will be developed by supporting the successful ideation, development, testing, consumer research, and launch of new menu items and offers through our innovation process. Additionally, this position will conduct individual analysis of industry, competitors, and consumer trends and activities to identify new opportunities for growth. Finally, this individual will take full ownership of the program when bringing a finalized project to national launch coordinating the entire Popeyes cross functional team to support a successful nationwide roll-out in over 3,000 restaurants.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Leads regular analysis of industry, competitive, and consumer trends and activities.
  • Leverages several sources of data to derive National and Regional sales trends, product mix, price positioning, menu architecture, and product margins.
  • Supports in management of the stage-gate process for new products and projects from the ideation/concept stage to product launch.
  • Collaborates with various cross-functional departments such as Operations, Marketing Analytics, Development, Technology, and Supply Chain to manage programs for his/her assigned projects.
  • Prepares briefings for Marketing Communications for any new product/promotional launches.
  • Creates Executive presentations for strategic projects in a logical and well-thought-out manner.
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.

Required Skills:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
  • 1-3 years of work experience in CPG, Retail, QSR, or related field
  • Strong business acumen with a high sense of curiosity
  • Exceptional analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills
  • Advanced skill level using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to dream big
  • Highly organized and motivated with a desire to outperform.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
