The Training, FHS, US&C is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high impact learning and development programs across multi-unit audiences. This position facilitates learning solutions in classroom and virtual formats, building individuals' leadership and job-specific competencies, and improving individuals' performance and contribution to business results. This position supports multi-unit development by facilitating classes, providing coaching, training, curating best-in-class content, and supporting onsite class logistics.
Responsibilities
- Drives blended learning strategy to support organizational goals.
- Works closely with Senior Manager, Training and key leaders to design, build, pilot, and embed learning and development (L&D) programs.
- Develops training classes and facilitates relevant, engaging, and memorable in-person and online instructor-led programs.
- Design training material for the right audience with a tailored approach for each role.
- Assists with assessing needs, providing learning metrics, and communicating success and ROI of learning initiatives.
- Demonstrates abilities to prioritize and advance several projects each week ensuring progress of both short- and long-term goals.
- Facilitates new leader assimilations, teambuilding activities, and other culture-enriching programs.
- Support Training initiatives from concept to launch, including collecting data, working with vendors, creating materials and collecting feedback from stakeholders.
- Reviews training materials to ensure quality in approach, design, development, and deployment.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to inform and influence the development of learning solutions.
- Up to 25% travel as needed; travel may increase or decrease based on training initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the restaurant industry, in-restaurant operations management preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or higher required.
- Hands on experience in full learning lifecycle including needs assessment, development of curricula and content, facilitation of live and virtual training, and evaluation.
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to deliver results in a changing & growing business environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to present and influence at all levels and build and develop strong trusting relationships.
- Ability to consistently execute new ideas and work simultaneously on multiple projects in varying stages.
- Able to organize, simplify, condense, present and sequence content effectively
- Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task and perform effectively under any condition.
- Ability to positively impact and influence internal and external constituents at various levels.
- Conceptually and intuitively understands how people learn and ensures final content helps the learning objective.
- Proficiency with Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
