The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Marketing to join our expanding Marketing team. This pivotal role will spearhead our growth, operations, and product marketing endeavors. Our marketing efforts, spanning from top of funnel initiatives including paid ad strategy and growth through upselling and pipeline generation, are orchestrated by this team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision, hands-on execution capabilities, profound technical expertise, and collaborative leadership prowess. This role will play a crucial part in refining our marketing and go-to-market strategies to cater to the burgeoning web3 developer ecosystem, while also attracting web2 companies with an interest in blockchain technology.

What You'll Do

  • Lead long-term go-to-market strategies to help growth and product marketing teams achieve target and forecast outcomes; providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship while actively participating tactical deep dives
  • Oversee and evolve current growth and product marketing teams to ensure strategy execution and target achievement
  • Collaborate with product marketing team’s efforts for our diverse portfolio of 6+ built products, transitioning from single-product brand awareness to comprehensive solutions and bundles.
  • Drive top-of-funnel growth for self-service revenue through strategic utilization of paid ads, events, and various other channels.
  • Advise and support new partner marketing function within Marketing to address the large blockchain partner network across protocols, marketplace and other vendors
  • Evolve and improve a comprehensive community marketing strategy tailored to resonate with the developer community, leveraging platforms such as our Forum, blog, Discord, and other relevant channels.
  • Craft and operationalize vision for the future of Quicknode through new thought leadership and brand marketing initiatives.
  • Cultivate strong connections within the expansive blockchain communities, particularly on the developer side.
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to craft and execute effective product marketing strategies

What You'll Bring

  • Proven track record of leadership in marketing, ideally at the director level.
  • Extensive background in technology marketing, with a strong understanding of selling tech products and navigating developer ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams such as sales, product development, and customer success, fostering cross-functional synergy.
  • Successful history of overseeing growth initiatives, optimizing operational efficiencies, and crafting strategic plans within the marketing domain to align with overarching company objectives.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing product marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences and drive product adoption.
  • Experience in owning pipeline generation strategies for enterprise clients, utilizing data-driven insights to enhance performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Passion for web3/blockchain technology and its potential impact

The base salary and level for this position in the United States are $$171,000 - $190,000 per year and Level M5. International ranges, in local currency, will be discussed during the hiring process with applicable candidates. We consider years of experience, level of proficiency in job function, the technical competencies required and location when determining base salary ranges for positions and levels.
